Al and Dat gone caused troubles.

Every team deals with injuries. Good teams deal with the injuries and keep winning. Much like the Cowboys did when Aikman went down and Beuerlein had to fill in.

We can't lay the blame for this collapse on injuries, because we have to overcome them. yes, those players are missed and anyone who doesn't think so is daffy.

It's lame to blame injuries, yes. But in our case, we have NO depth on OL. Hell, we don't even have worthy starters. Couple our talent on OL, with the lack of any depth at all, one can conclude injuries played a significant part in our sick decline.

Secondly, one of our weaknesses going into the season was LB. With Al S. and Dat going down, this made it all the worse.

Injuries play a major role in how a team fares. Ask the Eagles.

Look at how the Pattriots played with their injuries. They are getting their players back and boom, they start winning again.

Steelers lose Ben, boom they lose 2 games.

Loss of players due to injuries plays a huge role in a teams success. It's not cool to blame things on injuries but the fact of the matter is....when you have them, you are playing with less talent. When you have a lot of them, you are playing with a lot less talent.

Welcome to the FA/salary cap world, my friend.

Do you expect ANY team to have any depth? It's not that we don't have LBs to match Dat's and Al's talents-but their fire and intensity is sorely missed. Alot like when the Pats lost Rodney Harrison.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday, more with respect to Nguyen than with Singleton but we are getting killed by the run now and weren't when they were in there.

People complained about Singleton becasue he was unnoticeable out there, maybe that is a good thing for a defender?

Shanle is garbage. Anyone can see that. This guy wouldn't be on most team's PRACTICE SQUADS.
for my money - torrin tucker may be the nicest guy on the planet but he's a real POS at LT. once a week he makes the most pedestrian DLs look like lock HOFers. and didn't he have 3 penalties in just the first half? he reeks so bad my eyes water.

I can't blame the coaching for the injuries we had. If we had a healthy Flozel this game doesn't matter because we probably sweep the Giants.

We miss Dat in there, no matter how small you guys think he is. His knowledge of the game helps out the cowboys defense when he is in there. I remember in Ryan Fowler's profile, (I think it was him or some other rookie LB), he said that Dat was the smartest player that he played alongside. Even Dan Campbell stated something similar.

The coaching staff is the reason we lost.

Oh, and it sucks if Nors was banned.

It isn't about Dat being smart. That helps. It is about filling the holes. Shanle doesn't come up and do that. I would be somewhat alright with him trying to fill the hole, but getting blocked. Instead he waits for the blocker to reach him or he runs around them. The LB can't do that.
