Fujita - led team with 6 tackles
Singleton - 3 tackles
make the switch.
Most of Fujita's tackles were down the field anyway. He gets no pressure on the blitz either.
Like Ken said, these guys are the least of the team's worries right now. The defense seems to be playing OK. However, I don't think either is the long term answer.
If Fujita was the long term answer, I would have hoped he could have picked up the defense enough to force Singleton out after 2 months. He hasn't.
I don't what Burnett's deal is, but I am beginning to think his future might not be at OLB.
Still think this needs addressed in the draft. A big, fast LB with pass rush skills and coverage skills would look great opposite Ware. See if you can resign Fujita on the cheap for depth. Cut Singleton.
The ties to BP make Carpenter an attractive prospect.
