Tennessee going for the win and Lane Kiffin decides to let 40 seconds run off the clock and not try to get closer than 45 yards for the field goal and it gets blocked for the second time in the game. Kicker was also short from 46 yards earlier. What a dumb***.

i dont know if anyone watched the Bama/Tenn game.

one one play, Bama did a double CB blitz, leaving the outside WR on both sides uncovered. The blitz worked.

the first thought that ran through my mind was, that defensive call doesn't work in the Big 12 or even Pac 10. You leave WRs completely open against teams that actually have QBs that are of quality, and you get burned.

Against SEC QBs, this kind of defensive call works.

IMHO, neither of the teams Florida or Bama played had the quality of defense OU has. A 16-13 win is a sign that Texas and the Big12 are soft but getting worked by 3-4 Arkansas and 3-4 Tennessee are signs of just how tough the SEC really is.

I'm a fan of the SEC and I would be amoung the 1st to say that the SEC is typically one of, if not the toughest conferences in the country year in, year out. However, having said this, the SEC has not proven to be a better conference then the Big 12 this season and I don't believe they are better. I guess we'll see.
