And we would probably notice it more if he were ever actually anywhere near the ball for all his screw-ups.

He tackles like a kicker, and not just on STs. His go-to move is falling down.

Every week he lets someone get behind him. I dont know what they were thinking going with this guy at Safety but its clear he is out of position.

Agreed. He hasnt even been close to making a play yet this year. It's not just him though, our DBs just cannot make a play on the ball.

And as an aside, although I can't fault him TOO much...

....Keith Brooking has hands of stone.

HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY now we've agreed in the past SP but i respectfully disagree here, he tackles that ground like an all pro, when he hits that field hes something special.

I trusted Wade that this one would work out for some reason, but so far we don't seem to be getting much production from Ball.

He is a poor man's version of Ken Hamlin...literally, since he doesn't get paid as much. Makes no impact like Hamlin did but at least Hamlin wasn't a negative like Ball has been. We haven't gotten beaten deep like this since #31 was back there.

We gambled on Ball like we gambled on Buehler and both are coming up snake eyes.

Why do I have to hold my breath on 26 yd fg's and extra points? Why does it seem I never see Ball on a deep pass?

Clutch kicks in general...

I agree in general that Ball has been average to below average thus far. However, I think too much blame is being placed on him. Wade is letting the cornerbacks play a lot of man without help over top.

Ball is just one guy. Often when you see him coming in late into the picture, it's not because he let his man get over top of him, but rather he's arriving to help on the play.

Wade had the safeties playing up a lot today I'm assuming to help out in the effort of trying to stop Chris Johnson. Fisher called the Cowboys bluff and tested the Cowboys corners. He won.

I was thinking the same thing...resign Ken Hamlin? At least he didn't get beat deep.

Not gonna touch that one, huh?

I'd use that as a sig on spintopia, if, you know.... we were allowed to have them.

I really dont understand why Akwasi can't be given a start...just one. Don't buy the " the safety makes the pre snap calls " bs. AOA would be a sick center fielder.
