Sounds like Ball may be heading to the bench. I read earlier he was benched in the 4th qtr (wasnt injured) for Church and that they are considering making that a permanent change.

I think Barber's done too.

I agree with you on Barber. And I do hope Church gets a shot. What do we stand to lose by playing Church? Can't get any worse.

But back to Marion Barber. I just don't see the Cowboys keeping him. I don't see the new coach, whoever it may be, keeping him. Choice's talents are waisting away on the bench if you ask me.

Call me crazy, but I see a faster version of Mendenhall in Tashard.
 
i really think the guy has the ability to be a FS in the league, but i think they decided to throw him in as a starter WAY TOO SOON.

and they gave him no competition for the job either, we had Mike Hamlin but they never made that a real competition and then cut him....so all we had was AOA who was moving from corner.

it's another example of what's bothered me so much about the Wade regime, no competition and just handing people jobs either b/c they promised it for whatever reason or the salaries.

i'm afraid Ball may be another guy that loses all confidence in himself b/c he was nowhere near ready for the job and was pumped up all offseason.

I just hope whoever moves this train wreck back to the tracks doesn't make the mistake of letting Choice go to another team. I would love to see him flourish with the star on his helmet.

What have you seen to make you think he has what it takes to be a starter? I was a big Ball supporter (hee), but he hasn't cut it. And he's been here long enough that there's no point making the 'he was put in too soon' argument. It was an error in evaluation at a position they tried to get away with not backing up. A mistake.

I agree Ball has no business starting at FS in the NFL. And for those saying we should have kept Ken Hamlin... we would still be 1-6.
