1174.00 / resident this year. :( I was hoping for at least 1400.00, but you can't knock free money.

It's amazing this program has been paying out dividends to residents since 1982.

it's dividends from the oil pipe line and oil fields if I'm correct.

I'm from North Dakota (dont live there anymore) and our oil industry is BOOOOMMING right now, would be neat to see them do something of the sorts.

Good deal, Dallas. Now invest in promising oil rich land and, if you can acquire any non-public set-aside land. Regs will lessen going forward and there is a treasure of energy reserves which you are perfectly positioned to exploit it.

Here is a shot of how many filed throughout the years and how many were paid and how much was paid out of the account.

You are correct. This account is nearly 41+ billion atm and pays out yearly. All of the funds come from royalties off of oil and gas, but the dividends are paid out based on how the money is invested, which has been pretty good over the years.
