I know that no news is good news, but anything regarding the owners and players getting together for more talks is great news, and most of us are starved for anything positive on this front.

I am hoping that in the next week or so, we'll have a re-certified players union and an agreement in place.

True, but that's probably not the way to get anyone going. I don't even think the biggest defenders of the players like that guy. I wonder if his momma even likes him?

I seem to recall someone on this board a couple of months ago who claimed to have inside information on the lockout. I cannot remember who it was, but he claimed that the two sides would reach an agreement sometime around June 6th.

I hope was right.
