ALCS Game 4

alright big inning here. got to take it one out at a time here, Holland needs to go back out.

He's doing well but he's still a relief pitcher, why push him and use him up like this? esp when you have other capable arms that can help close it out.

thats part of my question....isnt this what a relief pitcher does....?

or are you saying they will use a group of pitchers to not wear any of them out so they can all be used next game?

That game 1 collapse was so key...

even though we could be on the verge of a sweep, it taught such a valuable lesson, and we have played scary baseball ever since that moment.

At this rate I'll take a 4 and 8 plus innings sweep of the Yankees over an outright Sweep. We got better from it the game 1 8th inning.

Actually he is not a relief pitcher, though that is his roll here, he can definitely and has before gone the starter route, matter of fact they had a difficult time deciding between him and Hunter for the start setting their rotation.

lol, though now they do need to pull him.

As much as the game 1 hurts maybe it's for the best if we don't sweep.

If the Phils-Giants series goes 6-7 and we're sitting around getting cold then that might hurt us. You see it almost all the time in the baseball playoffs.

Another good game for Derek Holland.

Ok time for the other guys to get the killer instinct. Come in and get the job done effeciently.

besides the score was there a weather delay? Yankee stadium is empty

agreed, may be part of the reason cc was so shaky game one

Can you imagine that if we win this game tonight (and the outlook's certainly probable), the Texas Rangers will be only one win away from playing in their first World Series - ever? Let that sink in for a moment.
