ALCS Game 6

I wish baseball would enter the 1990's and go to instant replay. Yeah, I know they finally implemented it for home runs (and we saw a HR reversed the other night) but geez, that last call cost Texas a run. A run is a run, whether scored via a HR or a wild pitch (which was really a hit batsman).

EDIT: Posada just got a 2-bagger so the run probably scores anyway, although you never know how things may have played out the other way.

Giving us a high outside pitch as a strike doesn't make up for your cheatin' heart...

Why didn't they review that? It was 100% reviewable...

No it isn't. The only plays in baseball that can be review are home runs.

hope those richies in the first row behind the ump are giving him the business.

I thought hit by pitch was as well...

If not... should be...

ernie shut your mouth the umps tied the score not the yankees i bet the whole commentary booth is gitty right now

I think it's stating the obvious about the ump on that call... dude sitting there staring right at Swisher writhing in pain.

But anyway

I hope that fired up this team, because they've been playing like some candy ***** all night.

Molina and Wash's argument was the first sign of life I've seen since the first at bat.

Yeah burkman missing that hr really took the wind out of their sails.

whiners.. if Swisher gets on two runs score with Posada's double and the inning is still going.

The umps GAVE the Yanks a run... outrageous...

They gave them one the other night and attempted a second...

This ain't right...

Personally I think every play should be eligible for replay except balls and strikes.

Except not genius, if swisher is on Moreland is playing closer to the base and gets that ball before it bounces of the bag and turns a double play with no runs in.
