That might be a bit too much. I do like McFadden and Turbin. I am all for trading down in the 2nd round and grab Collins there.

Really one RB does it. We have a lot of other areas of concern as well. QB, CB, and DT come to mind but WR is quickly becoming a concern. Bottom line is that we need playmakers at all areas of the field too much to stack one position.

By the time the Draft gets here, we'll have to take him with our 2nd round pick once the draftniks have watched tape on this kid. I think he's a better fit behind our Oline, which resembles Arkansas, than Henry and possibly even Elliot.

i agree with you on Henry but Elliot is complete and in my opinion scheme versatile. I'd take Elliot over any back due to his blend of Quickness and power, combined with receiving and blocking skills.

I know I'll crucified here, but I like him better than Henry. Henry has always had big running lanes. This kid hasn't. Every year CBS is wrong on their rankings. Im betting this kid is gone by the middle of the second.

I agree totally and IMO it's not even close. I have Elliott head and shoulders above everyone else and pegged as a mid first grade with Booker and Collins at #2 and 3 respectively but by a razor margin between the two. I consider them third round values that may get pushed into the late second because it's such a crummy RB class. I have Henry as a distant fourth and frankly I wouldn't want any part of Henry. I think he is the exact same Alabama RB NFL bust of a RB that all the previous Saban-era RBs have been.

I don't think we should get cute with the running back position. Don't wait for one if he's there. Take him. And if you can get two, take two.

I just don't think McFadden can hold up a full season. He did well this year, but he didn't start the full year either. And he's one step closer to retirement.

Turbin? He's serviceable. But I just don't want to rely on those two this year. We need an Elliott, a Henry or a Collins. If we can get two of them (especially with all the picks we have), I'm not against it.

I think our lack of a power running game (and Romo being out) hurt our defense. If Romo returns healthy, we need to protect him AND the defense, and we do that with the running game. We can't go back to relying on one guy anymore. So goes our running game, so goes Romo, our defense and our team.

Don't neglect it this year, Jerry. Fortify the RUNNING game.

I would not fault you for that opinion. Henry just does not impress me a whole lot. It is a crime he got the Heisman over McCaffrey. Not even close to being the best player in college football.

I'm becoming more of a fan of Alex Collins. If he tests well during The Combine and Pre-draft workouts, I would take him with Dallas' 2nd round pick. If they think he can be "the guy" why wait to see if he lasts until the 3rd. He may be an immediate impact player at RB in Dallas.

We'll see...but he definitely has me intrigued.

He has feet like Peterson. In small spaces his legs and feet are just pistons. Hes moving forward, but it seems like he always has a strong point of contact on the ground to explode through arm tackles.

He is my favorite RB in this draft.
