Pro Football Focus graded Leatherwood as the second-worst starting guard in the NFL last year, and Vic Tafur of The Athletic reported Aug. 1 that Leatherwood had worked with the Raiders third team. Though he began last season as the starting right tackle, it was clearly not a long-term fit.

Cut the other day - Couch scouts worth a look?
Claimed by the Bears.

I reviewed some of his Raiders game footage.

- I don't think his issues would be resolved just by moving to OG.
- His technique is a mess.
- He looks good on one snap then appears to pose focus on the next one.
- If he succeeds, it will be due to new coaching more than the position move.

Now all I can think of is the Tallahatchie bridge.

Any advice on killing an ear worm?

At guard, yes. Might be an upgrade over McGovern. He stinks at tackle however.

Worth a cheap looksie at Guard....have to see if he WANTS to play. I think he's a typical guy who looks the part physically but lacks motivation from what I've seen and read

Id rather not have him even if he was available and cheap. We have to keep Ball and Wally in the mix and furthering their progress...
