Alex Smith Has 1-Word Prediction For Dak Prescott’s Comeback

I'll take some dude who played quarterback in the NFL over some dude on a message board. Obviously, both are just opinions, but one from someone who played the game should carry a little more weight.

Of course, then we have some former NFL players who have become just talking heads, spouting whatever they think will get them views ... which most of the time means being controversial for the sake of controversy.
A former NFL quarterback has knowledge but none of it is medical.

Like I said, I hope he's right.

If Dak is fully healthy, I believe in his skill set.

“Huge”.

Smith believes Prescott will have a massive 2021 season.

“I really expect him to come back and be rolling. Then you add that on to his fortitude and mental perspective? I think he’s going to have a huge, huge year,” Smith told USA TODAY Sports.

I wouldn't put too much into this. Of course Smith is cheering for Dak since he had a similar injury and came back. He's not going to say ohh he will never be the same.

That dude had a similar injury. He would know!
If he had the exact same injury and every human healed in the same way and he was exposed to the exact same stresses and time on the field and number of hits etc. then he would KNOW. Outside of that, his is just one of many opinions. Like I said (twice now) I hope he's right.

That's fair. None of us know how his health will hold up. Fortunately, the type of injury he had isn't one that usually linger as long as it fully heals. It can be limiting, though, as far as mobility goes.

Being a Cowboys fan I certainly hope he's right. Hopefully the injury has healed sufficiently, the offensive line stays healthy as well as the weapons needed to pull this off.

Go Cowboys Go :flagwave:

Biggest thing for Dak is his new defense and DC. He should not have to force every down to protect the defense.
