Sounds like the other players didn't like his attitude or effort

Too much drama for his abilities

Only started 20 of his 48 games. Seven healthy scratches last year.

He went on IR last year. And starting 20 of 48 games is pretty good. He was a seventh round pick in 2012.

He was a 7th round pick because he punched a cop a week before the draft and got ejected from the Capital One Bowl for fighting.

He was a second round talent

He had 7 healthy scratches last year before going on the IR with a hamstring injury

Again the playing time issue is pretty good for guy drafted in the 7th round in 2012. His other issues would be the reason not to sign. Just ridiculous to pretend the on field stuff isn't impressive.

Better than Claiborne at this point.

Really, a guy that gets cut from a team that needs CBs is better then Claiborne. Stop with the hate, neither guys are all pro.

I would bring him in and see what he has in training camp, prove you can make the roster then Jones can move to FS and keep Denard at CB

Gotta completely disagree

The on field stuff wasn't impressive at all for a second round talent

The 7th round status was because he was a criminal and he proved that when he got arrested again for DUI.

We're playing a new hybrid defense this year... The 0-11-0....we don't need no stinking DB's..

I wouldn't touch a DB, WR, or HB that the Patriots drafted. They don't have an eye for talent.

To me..

It's all about scheme and who is around him.

This defense is definitely in transaction and we are certainly not set at CB.

I say go ahead and claim him and let's try to get some players on the corners.

I think they NEED to cut Carr and take the cap space now.

There will be more cuts coming to consider bringing on more new faces on defense.

I say..let him see how Marinelli raises his game.

I don't think he can be a #1/#2 corner per se, I think his skill set is better suited to the slot. He can't cover big WRs.

Utilized properly, I think he can definitely be a contributor.

I'd hold out for some later cuts. You can only have so many problem players before they cause disruption.
