With the league so persistant in bringing in another team to the league more than likely L.A. how is that gonna effect the alignment of the league and games played. Right now the leage is perfectly aligned with 32 teams. How would that effect a division having an uneven 5 teams with everyone at 4. just curious if anyone could ellaborate on that for me.

Most likely they'd move a team like Jacksonville to LA.

That's what I think too. I think they should move one of the teams that arent doing too well in their market than make an expansion team. We really dont need to expand any further than where we're at IMO

Candidates would be Jaguars, Jets, Raiders (again), Falcons, Cardinals (that new stadium probably keeps them off the list on second thought).

I doubt owners would add a 33rd team. Not for a long, long time.

4 additions in a 12 year span was ridiculous, I hople they learned, an average of a new team every three seasons has affected the game tremendously and not positively.

As i'm 45 minutes from L.A...I would LOVE that.

But 32 teams in the nfl right now is perfect..I don't think it should or will be changed.

I can see the Raiders moving to L.A. [again] but that's all.

I think the Jaguars would head that list. They really have had problems almost since their beginning in falling their stadium. Jacksonville loves their college games; not so much the Jaguars.

Yeah, i can only see them moving a team, not adding one. They have already dilluted the league enough.

The Jets are getting a new stadium aren't they? Plus they have too much franchise history to move them.

Instead of worrying about expanding the league they just need to concentrate on expanding the interest in the league. Me and my buddy talked about it and we think the real way to help expand football abroad would be through arena football. Its easier and cheaper to set up teams but at least we get american football into other countries that can help plant the seed to pull more players and lead to expanded interest in the NFL. We're really only pulling talent from North America and with the current number of teams it makes the talent look watered down. If we get great athletes from across the world trained to play football that could greatly bring up the talent level again in the NFL kind of like how the Europeans compete with if not better sometimes with Americans in the NBA. What do you guys think

It's how they say that soccer is the most popular sport in the world. But look how popular it is in the States.

Dont they still have the NFL Europe league?

As far as I know of the Jets don't have an owner that is almost bankrupt. Modell moved them because they paid him.

Don't forget the Baltimore Colts, they even lost the nickname to Indianapolis.

I think it will be years until the rest of the world caught up to the US in talent in [American] football. That is if they start playing it.

And when I say years, I mean if and when they start playing it... and I mean when you see fathers and sons throwing the ball around in the yard instead of kicking it.... then add another generation or two.

Hockey, basketball, and baseball have been worldwide games for years. Hockey migrated into the US. Baseball started here, and was here for 150+ years before international players started being major contributors. Basketball started here and it was about 80 years before it was worldwide enough to commonly see international players in the league.

The NFL isn't going to see a lot of international players coming into the league overnight.
