Did anyone see him tonight. He won, but my god has he withered away to nothing. He'll be at Light Heavyweight soon.

He actually looked bigger tonight than in some of his previous fights.
Look at him in his Pride days.
Those were some fun fights tonight.... Ufc is as good as it's ever been right now.

What did you think of the two stoppages? I thought the Dos Santos one may have been a tad early. He looked like he maybe could have gotten up and continued. I'm undecided about the Cerronne one. He went in to a shell and wasn't trying to get up, but at the same time I never thought he was in real danger of being hurt/knocked out. I'm more ok with that stoppage though.
This is why ex fighters should be refs.
These guys have no idea what they're doing.

You may like this short docu. Mark Kerr speaks about his experience with them.
There was a full length documentary about Kerr called The Smashing Machine.
I thought they were both too early.
Cerrone was stuck in a bad spot but he was protecting his head. If you're concsious and blocking they shouldn't stop the fight imo.
Dos Santos looked fine to me as well.
Yep, I used to have it. Truly a sad story but his trainer Bas Rutten said it was the drugs that gave him the drive to fight in the first place. Without them he wouldn't have been in mma and once he stopped them he just couldn't fight.
Disagree - fighters by nature don't care what happens to them during the fight. Cerrone is one of my favorite fighters, but he had all but given up in those exchanges. He even later said that sometimes you just don't go to work. I think the Dos Santos fight was called short, but I would always error on the side of too early rather than too late.

Same with TONS of football players.
Dallas drafted a couple. They all of a sudden didn't "like" football anymore.
Who were they?
Fights: I would have let both continue on for a bit more as they were championship "style" fights.(BIG money)
IMHO you let those run a little longer.
Overeem. He is probably the most powerful and accurate HW. The weight loss is probably the best thing for him.
As 240 he can move and avoid damage himself. At 265 he just ate shots.
Definitely off most if not all the juice. He was probably on the wrong stuff anyway.
