Something the Cowboys did last week should be replicated. Just play Diggs and Bland and use ALL of the safeties. I want Wilson, Hooker, Kearse and Mukuamara on the field at ALL times. I do not think this is a good game for Anthony Barr- Damone Clark should just stick to whomever is in the backfield.

I want to see a lot of safeties keeping an eye on Purdy who will take off to run, but they need to STICK on the YAC. If SF is going to beat you, make them beat you with Purdy throwing it deep/intermediate, not with McCaffrey and Deebo running everywhere or Aiyuk getting open on slants for 7 yards over and over again.

And most importantly - don't eat the cheese. SF will use Parsons/Lawrence momentum and aggressiveness against them. I think they take Parsons out of the game by making him eat cheese. Nobody else. Personally, this is a game where I feature Parsons off the ball a lot more than at end. Let Lawrence & Williams/Armtrong rush from the ends and sent Parsons to work against the guards.

Not much more than an semi educated guess, but it sounds like the play of our linebackers is going to be key in this matchup.

Barr is damn slow and that’s a concern. Clark is green. LVE seems to be balling but he is fragile. Maybe they activate Cox for this one.

this is a game thta LB sn saftey speeds come to play. ability to get to the outside and seal off the edges. also Wilson is going to be key in run game and getting through the trash to make tackles. Managing those short screen and swing passes to Deebo and McCaffrey is key for defense. one of the safties should be spying each of them. and then its about pressure on the rookie. pressure him. hit him a few times, rattle him a bit to release early and get some interceptions.

offensively, we need to control the clock. running the ball will be hard, so passing game and short passing game is key. we need a couple of drives in first half like we did against Tampa.
:hammer:

Theses guys hit the nail on the head. The LBs n Safeties are the key to this game. Lots of crossing routes and dump offs, deep bend routes when they need a big play, and running game.

All those plays will fall on the LBs being aware bumping crosses, being in passing lanes, and diagnosing run plays n screens. Safeties will have some of the same responsibilities, but they will be asked to man up on the playmakers. Make Purdy throw outside the numbers, basically clog the middle. Because even with Jimmy G. on 3rd and long or to start a clutch drive Shanahan loves the deep in route to Aiyuk, it's money.

Barr too slow. Micah and lve at lb only. Play extra safety or Kearse at lb

I might be reading this wrong and if I am please correct me, but I'm reading the bottom one as a slight knock on Romo? If you think Romo ran around waiting for Dez to get open I'm so sorry. You missed a lot of great football. You should go ask Miles Austin, Laurent Robinson, Cole Beasley, Patrick Crayton, Terrance Williams, Jason Witten ect ect how their 2nd contracts in the league were all because of the QB who only waited for Dez to get open.
No, it's a knock on Dez. Romo had to wait for Dez because nobody knew what route Dez would run.

QBs like Aikman or Brady would have demanded that Dez be cut or traded. They just wouldn't have tolerated his nonsense.

Need speed. Barr useless this game. They will run past him.
Maintaining cohesion on the line of scrimmage by engaging blocks on their run attack is key. Research stretch rollouts and then look deeper into how they vertically attack the los and you can learn what I am talking about.

Defenses hate doing the same things over and over again, but a delayed spying blitzer would work wonders against Purdy. I'd put eight in the box and rush three with a blitzing spy quite often.

Absolutely parsons needs to be off the ball more this game. Why line him up and end when it’s easier to neutralize him. Make purdy account for him in the middle… not know where he’s coming from. Let him also help in coverage like he did last week. Eat him go sideline to sideline.

More Hankins as well… yes you give up pass rush but who cares. End of the day purdy beats you you live with it.

I think that Parsons would be much more valuable at MLB than at end this game for the most part as well.

Winning the game will come down containing McCaffrey, Deebo and Kittle. Getting them on the ground as soon as possible. They are all outstanding RAC players.
This is going to be a tough game, I think we’ll have to win a shootout with these guys.

Oh I guess I'm not equipt enough to answer that one. Dez seemed to me that he was open the second the QB yelled hike. Dude was bigger and stronger then everyone lined against him.
