QB: I thought Tony Romo played a much better game after I went back and looked at the All-22 tape. He was pretty accurate, outside of a few passes. But he could’ve easily thrown for 450 yards if it wasn’t for the eight drops. Romo had a pretty good feel as to which receiver would come open and did a good job at manipulating the safeties with his eyes. But there is one negative that stood out to me; He needs the bye week to come soon. Romo is looks awfully banged up and stiff. It could be because he is in his mid 30’s, or could be that he has played 13 straight games without a break. But I expect we will see a much “fresher” Tony Romo going into the Thanksgiving week.

RBs: The running backs got the yards that were blocked for them Sunday. There really isn’t too much more to say other than that. With only 8 carries between the three backs, it was hard for any of them to get in rhythm. But I continue to believe that the Cowboys need to find a way to get the ball into Lance Dunbar’s hands more often. There were a few times in the game when the Cowboys split out Dunbar wide against a linebacker. If that happens again this week against New Orleans, that should be an automatic throw to him. I think he has real playmaking potential out of the backfield. Think poor man’s Darren Sproles or Danny Woodhead with him.

It could be because he is in his mid 30’s,

As a thirty year old in reasonable health, it pains me to think that I'm getting to the age where my age is a physical limitation.

Of course, I don't play professional football.

I think they should put Harris in the backfield some. I think he would make an awesome dual threat back. And he blocks well so why not try?

Also, on Harris. I agree I would like to see him get more touches, but he just doesn't seem like a reliable WR to me. Get him the ball on some quick passes sure, but his routes and technique just look incredibly bad.

I agree. He seems like a great player when the ball is in his hands. Maybe throw a quick screen to him every now and then and let him work in open space.

As much as I like harris he is our ST stud and could go to the PB as a ST player. He is one of the best gunners and return men in the game. With Beasley's emergence getting a harris on the field is more a luxury than a necessity.
