Like some, I had some reservations about him prior to the draft ... the reports of him being tardy regularly.

But I started to warm up to him after I saw him interviewed a few times after the draft, and I became a full-blown fan when I saw him in person at San Antonio. Good grief, he's good.

I watched this guy in college, a lot, and im still excited about the unknown when it comes to his potential as a Dallas Cowboy.


I remember watching the Georgia game last year and thinking that I wish Dallas could get their hands on a player like that but thought it would never happen.

Im ready to see this guy on TV.

Just curious... Have any of you who read Extremeskins seen many comments on Dez? I wonder if they know how good he's looked or even consider him a threat on opening night.

I'm sure in their world Deangelo will shut him down like he does every WR.

For that matter, I wonder if the Giants or Eagles know, too. It's just that the Skins may be the first team to see this secret phenom.

Im very eager to see him out in his first NFL game, catching his first passes, getting his first welcome to the NFL hit, first TD.

There's nobody in this draft I was more excited about possibly getting than this guy, but honestly thought there was no possible way we could get him w/o moving up a ton.

With him and Austin we have a nightmare WR duo for years to come.

The kid, Victor Cruz, rookie WR for the Giants caught everyone's attention in the pre-season game. He was a trending topic on Twitter. I can't wait to see Dez make a splash. It will be cool to see him shock everyone.

Some say they aren't buying the hype until they see him play first. I know he's gonna be good!

I remember thinking that going into last year, we probably won't have a chance to draft Dez. But then he was suspended, and I thought, maybe it will push him down in the draft. I was so happy to see him drop, and for us to trade up to get him. He is very respectful in all his interviews, and you wouldn't expect that if you just listened to what the "experts" were saying about him pre-draft. I think with him and Austin, we have what Arizona had with Fitz and Boldin.
