These things seem all but a certainty now if we read between the lines...

1. Making Miles Austin a June 1st cut isn't a question of IF, it is a question of WHEN it happens.

2. With the increased salary cap they will do everything they can to keep Hatcher after he tests the market as long as the price isn't out of hand.

3. Ware will be forced to take a pay cut, the question is simply 'HOW MUCH' he is willing to go down.

4. The team will either sign or draft a wide receiver that can start immediately.

5. The offense will have some new wrinkles and creativity with Linehan taking over.

6. They do not worry about the safety or running back position as much as us fans, and don't expect them to upgrade those positions in the draft.

7. They still feel the need to upgrade the guard spot. They will definitely add a starting quality guard, and don't count out a tackle too.

8. They are worried about the depth of the weak side and middle linebacking spot. Priority is to get at least 1 starting quality position at one of those spots.

9. They do not value the 1 tech position, and will NOT draft a 1 tech early in the draft such as Jernigan or Hageman. Look for them to draft one in the middle portions of the draft such as Caraun Reid or DaQuan Jones.

10. If Hatcher is not resigned, the 3 tech is the most important priority in the offseason.

11. They will use a good portion of their salary cap to extend Dez and Tyron this summer.

So, if we keep hatcher, does that rule out a 3T in round one?

I hope not. At 32 years old I hope he is gone. Sure dallas says they want to bring him back but they should only on a low 2 year deal. Stop giving over 30 players big money

1. Not necessarily
2. agree
3. unsure; I'd lean that way
4. agree
5. agree
6. Don't be surprised if a S goes high; RB not so much
7. G probably maybe 2nd or 3rd outside chance 1; T probably not unless someone falls in their lap and no one else compares
8. absolutely
9. probably so; not sure they want to draft a 1 unless he can play the 3, too
10. up there with pass rusher
11. maybe

That doesn't mean much.... I just don't see them drafting him early unless he dropped severely to like the 2nd

I won't dispute you on this.
You could very well be right, but I wouldn't say this situation with this player is set in stone...

I don't think WR is a priority at all. They may bring in another wide guy that can spread the field or a big guy to spell Dez, but not a starting quality FA. Only Watkins or Evans could jump right in as starters.

My feelings......

1. 50/50, depending on if they can sign/draft an outside WR and most likely, it will have to come via FA

2. Hatcher is looking for a fat contract and Dallas should abstain and let him go

3. I think he gets cut

4. agree

5. agree

6. They will draft one in the later rounds, probably a safety

7. agree

8. agree, just hope it doesn't come in round one

9. probable, look for a 3-tech or end for the first pick

10. agree

11. one gets extended, the other comes later, most likely Dez

All reasonable and sound observations.

1. Making Miles Austin a June 1st cut isn't a question of IF, it is a question of WHEN it happens. I agree. This was one of the biggest mistakes made over the last few years. He had one great day against an inferior team and got a huge payday. He never was a 1 and his health suggests he was what he was when T.O. was here. A back-up.

2. With the increased salary cap they will do everything they can to keep Hatcher after he tests the market as long as the price isn't out of hand. Depends on what Ware does. Not sure Hatcher didn't have an Austin season and doesn't deserve what some other team will pay him. But for sure, this line doesn't need to be rebuilt completely this season. So many questions and so few answers.

3. Ware will be forced to take a pay cut, the question is simply 'HOW MUCH' he is willing to go down. Or he will walk. He still might be able to get more than Dallas is paying him from the right team. To suggest he has one option and that is Dallas is incorrect in my opinion.
4. The team will either sign or draft a wide receiver that can start immediately. Sign maybe. Drafting a starter is difficult to near impossible. But they need something to offset Dez and take that double away at times. But...what are the odds this team sees TWill and a combination of Harris/Beasley to be enough?

5. The offense will have some new wrinkles and creativity with Linehan taking over. They also will start to throw long, and that exposes both Romo to more picks and the offensive line to keeping Romo safe for the time it takes to launch long. Also, what happens top the running game since the new play caller doesn't feature it. I bet Murray is going crazy.
6. They do not worry about the safety or running back position as much as us fans, and don't expect them to upgrade those positions in the draft. And this is a mistake because the safety position is horrid and one of the reasons this defense stinks on ice.

7. They still feel the need to upgrade the guard spot. They will definitely add a starting quality guard, and don't count out a tackle too. Good!!! Leary is a knee injury away from disaster and Mac is not good enough for this line to be the best it can be.

8. They are worried about the depth of the weak side and middle linebacking spot. Priority is to get at least 1 starting quality position at one of those spots. Lee is a scary proposition with his health. So I agree here. Plus Carter is the scape goat for the LBers.

9. They do not value the 1 tech position, and will NOT draft a 1 tech early in the draft such as Jernigan or Hageman. Look for them to draft one in the middle portions of the draft such as Caraun Reid or DaQuan Jones. I'm not really certain they are that forward thinking.

10. If Hatcher is not resigned, the 3 tech is the most important priority in the offseason. Defensive line is priority one. But like Stephen said, they will seek the BPA. Which means these clowns could find value in a long snapper and justify it to their Senior Draft Player Selection Specialist.

11. They will use a good portion of their salary cap to extend Dez and Tyron this summer.
Perhaps. It should be so.

Meaning this line must have some players on the team. Not that it does not need to be overhauled.

But Dallas must have players which contribute that are all ready on the squad and not build from scratch.

I wasn't clear on this in the original answer to the OP.

1) Agree, Miles a goner.

2) Dont agree on Hatcher, he gets hurt too much and is on the wrong side of 30.

3) Ware is likely a goner IMO.

4) Agree, this draft is deep at WR and you can get a starter in the first 4 rounds.

5) Dont agree, didnt like the Linehan hire, all it means is more chucking.

6) Agree with your premise doubt they pick and RB, but likely will pick a safety. Roster is loaded with trash at the position.

7) Agree and I think they draft at least on OL first two rounds.

8) Agree LB is a mess too, the one guy who can play cant stay on the field.

9) Agree a one tech mid rounds.

10) Dont agree, the who front seven could improve anywhere and everywhere, its a train wreck.

11) I'd wait on Dez keep hearing whispers about his back. Tyron OTOH, lock him up.

1. Making Miles Austin a June 1st cut isn't a question of IF, it is a question of WHEN it happens.
Yes, his skill or lack thereof does not matter because he can't stay healthy.

2. With the increased salary cap they will do everything they can to keep Hatcher after he tests the market as long as the price isn't out of hand.
Why? There will be other options in free agency, many of them younger players.

3. Ware will be forced to take a pay cut, the question is simply 'HOW MUCH' he is willing to go down.
He made 6M last season. Paying him 6M in 2014, technically wouldn't be a pay cut. It just wouldn't be as much the non-guaranteed 12.25M that is in his contract.

4. The team will either sign or draft a wide receiver that can start immediately.
Where did you get this as a certainty? From Jerry mumbling?

5. The offense will have some new wrinkles and creativity with Linehan taking over.
It will be different.

6. They do not worry about the safety or running back position as much as us fans, and don't expect them to upgrade those positions in the draft.
Who really knows if Jerry mumblings are what they're thinking or just intentional misinformation prior to the draft.

7. They still feel the need to upgrade the guard spot. They will definitely add a starting quality guard, and don't count out a tackle too.
They would be stupid to not add more depth at Guard, but I don't know that there is any certainty that it will be a starting quality type. I wouldn't rule out either OG or OT in the draft.

8. They are worried about the depth of the weak side and middle linebacking spot. Priority is to get at least 1 starting quality position at one of those spots.
Again, Jerry mumblings are not a certainty. I'm sure they want more depth, but I doubt they feel that a starter is a must have.

9. They do not value the 1 tech position, and will NOT draft a 1 tech early in the draft such as Jernigan or Hageman. Look for them to draft one in the middle portions of the draft such as Caraun Reid or DaQuan Jones.
More Jerry/Stephen mumblings. Yes, it's doubtful that they would draft a 1-tech in the 1st round, but the 2nd round is a definite possibility. When Marinelli was the DC in Chicago, they drafted Stephen Paea in the 2nd. Booger McFarland was a 1st round pick for Tampa Bay when Kiffin and Marinelli were there.

10. If Hatcher is not resigned, the 3 tech is the most important priority in the offseason.
Yes, unless Ware refuses the "pay cut" and they cut him, then DE is an equal priority.

11. They will use a good portion of their salary cap to extend Dez and Tyron this summer.
Yes, they will be resigned; however, they could make their 1st year cap hits low which they've done with other players.
