All Cowboys contact with prospects for 2025 Draft

I'm not buying the RB hype. Just look at who we been interviewing thus far. Nearly all Dlineman. I can see the Bears getting Jeanty to pair him with Caleb. Makes more sense . What we sorely lack are starters, the big uglies on the dline, linebackers, corners. I keep hearing we need a wr at 12 like McMillan. That would be dumb. Can't win playoff games in winter time throwing the ball. It's about bully ball on both sides of the ball. Let's just go draft big nasty players. We can figure out the rest in camp

Could it be, and I'm just guessing, that it's the Defense that arrived and tested first?

Well that's a great point. Yes. But let's see next when they get at the combine, who we talk to.
I wouldn't put a ton of stock in who we do and don't visit with, other than it shows maybe where they are looking.

For example, it's been reported there is no meeting with Jeanty being set up, but likely he will be a Dallas Day visit.

Combine is but one small piece. We have Pro Days, 30 Visits, Dallas Day, Senior Bowl all are other pieces to puzzle.

That's very true. The Dallas Day visits are usually very telling every year.

you watch Georgia then Walker and Starks stand out the most.Walker has incredible first step quickness and he can play at DE and LB if we need him.
I like Starks. Fans here never really seem to mock him to us, but there are a few scenarios where I believe he makes sense.

He'd quickly be the best safety we've had in 20 years.

Jahdae Barron is an elite football player. I want him over any on the interview list. Takes the ball away, elite instincts. Very physical in run support too. We have a fairly dire need at CB. He can play Safety also. Day one starter.

Overview

Three-year SEC starter who saw improvement in play and production season after season. Dart has a stocky build and average physical attributes but good makeup and intangibles. He’s fairly accurate and rarely overcomplicates things for himself. He won’t strike anyone as a running quarterback, but he can find tough yards on the ground. He can make full-field reads but looks more comfortable grazing from the trough of the simple. He will need to work with better anticipation and decisiveness to win in tight windows as a pro. Teams might see physical and play similarities between Dart and Brock Purdy but such a pathway for Dart likely requires a balanced, ball-control passing attack that allows him to manage the game instead of driving it.
