Parcells gets a lot of grief from Cowboys Fans?

I don't think so. By the end it was clear that the game had passed him by on defense, but I think everyone gives him credit for building a contender. The Team That Parcells Built, wasted by Jerry.
As soon as Jerry brought Wade in he fumbled the ball and made it worse when Garrett came in.

Thats still trying. Im sure he is happy with who he got.

But I do wonder what Romo's career would have been like had he played for Payton in New Orleans. He might be in the HOF.
Really?? Wow!! It's not that I don't think Payton is a great offensive mind, but I just don't view Romo in the same lens that a lot of people on these message boards view him.. Romo carved out a heck of a career for a guy that was undrafted, but he was never good enough when he needed to be. In fact, Romo is the opposite of that, his turnovers and blunders were mostly self-inflicted, and no coach in the world can change that.

Yea but at that time Romo was just a backup. A 3rd round pick was for a backup not a starter.

Dallas countered with wanting a 2 rd pick but Sean didn’t . Context is important.
Right...that's what I am saying. If I understand the comment correctly...Sean offered a 3rd round pick for an undrafted backup qb? If correct that is a SOLID offer and show of faith he had in Romo.

Yes, agree on that but my point is it was for Romo to be a backup not the starter. Or Sean would have gladly stepped up with a 2 nd round pick.

This is pure BULLSHIP. He has a VERY good wining percentage, completion rate, and fourth qtr comeback winning percentage. This notion that is was Romo that *** up the games is pure imagination.

Again.....furthers the point. Not sure he would have been the backup for very long with a 3rd round trade.

Oh PLEEZ. Romo was a very gifted undrafted quarterback. The talent he carried can't be taught.

He's also a dynamic golfer. Doesn't mean Tiger made him.
Romo is arguably the best NFL player to ever play golf . John Brodie , former 49er QB, played on the Senior tour which is only other NFL player I can recall on tour.

Parcells made Romo
o_O
Romo was a very gifted undrafted quarterback. As a sophomore in 2000, Romo ranked second in Division I-AA in passing efficiency, completing 164 of 278 passes for 2,583 yards & 27 touchdowns.

After the season, he was honored as an All-America honorable mention, an All-Ohio Valley Conference member, & the OVC Player of the Year. I don't recall Parcells coaching Romo in college. What Romo had, can't be taught!

He's also a dynamic golfer. Doesn't mean Tiger made him.
