John Gruden makes Tony Romo better than he can be and could bring back a schme that works in the NFC East, the 4/3 Defense but his record reflects that he loses about half the time.

Then there is Bill Cohwer from a system that basically created him. Bill is a Defensive minded Coach first.

Of course Dallas already has 3/4 Defesive personel which also fits Mike Shanahan. You have to like Mikes' knowledge and production Offensively. Automatically he makes Romo all he can be, improves the runing game and fixes the OLine but on te down side basically he is a Wade clone philosophically.

In the end gimme' Chucky, and it would be nice if Dan Reeves could come back in as an adviser.

What if there is a no namer with a great plan and can implement it? Do you take them? Or do you want retreads knowing what they can and cannot bring to the team and HOPING they learned from their mistakes?

you should hope for better players. Lombardi couldn't coach these gutless turds.

You gotta love Gruden. He got screwed in Tampa without a QB. We all know how hard it was to find a replacement for Aikman.

I think he's a great coach with the right pieces. And I KNOW we have the right pieces. Jason Garrett is just too ******** to use them correctly.

Gruden: possible, but I think he's staying with his ESPN gig for at least another year.

Cowher: a good fit defensively, but would never stand for Jerry Jones antics

Shanahan: I don't like his record post John Elway

Dungy: makes it pretty clear week after week he doesn't like Romo. Besides I think he's in a pretty good place personally right now.

Holmgren: Very seriously considering going back to Seattle as GM. Would take loads of money to get him to change his mind. Given Jerrys current debt load, I would question if Jerry is willing to pay it.

Conclusion: Garrett becomes next HC. I firmly believe Jerry thinks he is the next Sean Payton, who he let get away to New Orleans.

BTW: nothing is going to happen before the end of the year.

Shanny or Gruden. In fact, I would love to see Gruden on the sidelines.

I don't know why but there's something about the guy.

Im starting to think the coach is not the problem in Dallas. This team complained Parcells was too hard on them. Then Phillips comes in and everybody is glad because he is a players coach, now we still cant win. Coaches come and go and we still cant win a playoff game. Only thing in common is the players. As much as i hate to agree with Steve Young, maybe this team just doesnt have good leadership on the field or anybody to step up and take over when the game is on the line. But fortunately there is still time left this season to prove us wrong.

I dont know....

I really dont like any of those coaches....might as well bring in Dan Reeves...

Give me really good assistant coaches......and make Jerry the HC. :)

I dont know.....I think we may have some stupid players........we constantly seem to dumb down our playbook.

I dont know anymore.....On the long pass completed to Newman.....a safety was trying to give help but had someone else running deep in the middle that made him hesitate.

But Newman before the play.....was playing off.....maybe 8 yards and then decides to play bump and gets burned for a long play...

Is it execution? SD third CB's were making plays and seemed to be in our WR's back pocket.

Gruden would be better from a perception standpoint but I hate the way he calls plays.

So i'd go with Shannahan.

Only thing Gruden has going for him is he is young and gets pumped.

If Wade goes please take Garrett with you.I know Jerry picked
him but they both should go,not just Wade. I really think Shanahan
will work the running game to be superior to what Red calls and then
Romo won't be running for his life.Gruden has made a nice niche for himself
at Espn, but contracts at Espn seem to let coaches leave when a door opens.

If Dallas does change coaches, and they will if Felix Jones is going to continue to play second fiddle to Barber.

Jerry Jones should seek a zone blocking head coach who will feature Felix Jones and run Tashard Choice, too.

If you don't want to do that, you are not getting the job.

Plus, the 34 stays.

I want a new GM, but like the last decade and half, I am going to get coal in my stocking.

No retread coaches, please. Just grab some random assistant off Houston's staff or something.
