- Dez briefly talks to JJ at the HoF party about him and Dak having a prior conversation about winning the SB.
- Rewind to 2016’s draft, Stephen and Garrett were already looking to find Romo’s replacement in that draft. Stephen specifically says "lets be honest here, Romo has been hurt 2 of the 3 years". The fact the team was being reactive about it is telling. If the concern was there than why draft Elliot at all? Why not trade up before and secure the spot you needed for a franchise QB. (i.e. Wentz, Goff)
- The Garrett and Dak throwing sessions are a bit more clearer to me and I see the intent...Garrett is well aware of Dak's accuracy woes and is working with him at every opportunity with the friendly competitions. I like this quality about Garrett because he's connecting with Dak on personal and professional level. JG is very much a player's coach.
- The irony during Witten's scene about him talking about what he can do to help the team win championships is his failure to realize that he's a progress stopper. There is no doubt that Witten is a first ballot HoF player and his leadership is a big void to fill, but he also insinuates that Dak is the leader. Also did anyone notice as he's pulling up to the Star and turns in he's on the wrong side of the road?
- I've always maintained that the Zeke suspension was going to affect this team no matter what. You can find old posts of me saying Zeke looked out of shape to start the year out. What a huge distraction to start out the season and just kept lingering until he had to serve his suspension. Equally concerning is the coaching staff had no real plan in place if they lost him for the six games.
- The business meeting with all Jones' about jersey sales is concerning. They are talking about jersey sales of Dak and Zeke. GMs don't care about jersey sales...owners do. Jersey sales coupled with personnel decision makers don't mix.
- The Dooley scene is depressing...why is he even talking about the how good the Denver defense is in the first place? It's ******* week 2 and not one team understands how good/bad they are yet. That seems like a loser mentality to me or he doubts his own WR room. Clearly Dez is tired of hearing that and voices his opinion. I just don't get why spend the time talking the other team up, especially at Week 2 of the season. If the players get the sense that the staff has doubts than you've already lost them.
- It's obvious that the DEN game plan was to feed Zeke and dominate through the run game to win. However, we know that was about the biggest team loss because every unit had a bad day. No question Zeke lost interest in that game as did everyone else when the game plan failed. I blame that on the coaches and players but I have to wonder how many other coaches were giving the Dooley loser speech to their rooms about how good Denver was.
- In all team meeting scenes, Dak was always sitting in between Dez and Beasley. After the loss at Denver Zeke is snoozing when Garrett is talking about how ****** the team was. JG should have made an example of him.

Why anyone would want to re-live that cluster of a season, in detail, baffles me to no end.

It showed what a lot of fans need to see so they stop posting assumptions.
It showed behind the scenes factual examples of all of the BS the team had to go through.
The practice, meeting and game footage was incredible.

I thought the Dez/Dooley scene just emphasized why neither is here right now. Dez crying like a baby in the film room was embarrassing.
I don't think Dez could mentally grasp some of the things that were expected of him. It was like a dad preaching to his 12 year old to not play with matches.

I like how Zeke gave up against the Broncos, and the way the RB coach talked tough about “getting him right because this _______ needs to stop.”

And then he talks to Zeke and he is like: “What can I do to help you? Do you want me to give you a break from practice?”

Lol what a way to put your foot down on the player! He doesn’t try hard so let’s have him practice less.

This is why I am hesitant to watch. As a cowboys fan and an amazon prime member, it should be a no brainer. It looks like the production is high quality, and it is cool to get an inside look into the team, but man last season was one of the worst in recent memory. Such high expectations before the season... I can handle a bad season, but everything that happened off field was incredibly disturbing. The bias against the Cowboys is stronger than I thought. The NFL is not about fairness, the rules can be changed anytime as long as enough owners join forces. And right now, the owners with power are not happy with Jerry and the Cowboys, and I know we will continue to deal with this for a while.

That being said... I will probably still watch it.

Neither Dooley and Dez understood each other's roles. Dez's "crying like a baby" in the WR room should have been a man to man conversation outside of the room. However, I still don't think Dooley would have changed his response.

The last game Dez played against the Broncos he had 10 catches for 141 yds and 2 TDs.
