- After the tumultuous first month Zeke had it was good to see him getting the gloves and belt awards after the SF game
- In the Dez practice scenes it was obvious that he and Dak were clearly struggling to be on the same page. Dez tries to explain to Dak when and how to throw the fade to him in the end zone. Dak explains to him how he wants him to run the route. There was timing and route issues from both sides.
- This is the first time that Dez is not sitting beside Dak in the main meeting room. All previous scenes Dez was to Dak's right, this time Beasley is to his right and now Kellen Moore is on Dak's left.
- And just like I figured how the episode was going they feature Dez almost exclusively the WAS game. Dez's complaints were that WAS was playing cover 1 at the end of the half when Dallas was trying to run out the clock in the first half. They did it 2 plays in a row and Bryant was holding up his 2 fingers to show it and they didn't even put Norman on Dez. Meanwhile the broadcast announcers are going on about how Dez is talking about he he's only been thrown at 2 times. Dez is visibly frustrated but consider that is was raining that game, the offense as a whole failed to score another touchdown in the second half, (4 FGs, and 1 pick six) and Dez was one score from becoming the all time franchise leader in TDs.
- I'm glad Gary Brown stuck around...they way he treats his players and gets to know them on a personal level is how it should be done at any level.
- Romo comes back to the team for the KC game as a broadcast announcer. Dez recalls how he and Romo worked so much on fades that he got sick of it of wanted to work other routes. The Witten moment looked like a tear jerker for Romo.
- The Dak and Dez chemistry narrative keeps going with the KC game. Romo shares those intricacies on air and where Dez likes the ball and how much they practiced it throughout the years.
- Every David Irving highlight I see throughout this series worries me because I'm not sure how the FO views him. He's got rare talent and production and he's badly needed on the DL but the way the FO wants to steer clear of troubled players is what worries me.
- I hate that this episode ended on the Tyreek Hill TD.
