- Zeke returns for the All or Nothing SEA game. There are lots of happy faces to see him all throughout the Star. His meeting with JJ got weird when he told Zeke "You know I had your back?", felt like some sort of godfather moment.
- I have no qualms about Sean Lee running defensive meetings. He's knows everything, and I see why the defense isn't the same without him. He's the coach of the defense and when he is on the field everyone is playing off of him.
- Gil Brandt sighting at Jon Stephen's HS FB game. He's right next to JJ in his suite box. Boy what a game and how emotional is that for SJ to see his son win the State Championship game? So many emotions there!
- The SEA game comes next. Feed Zeke and we can't get into the endzone and settle for 2 FGs. Dez fumbles and his body language says it all again. SEA comes back and scores a TD after a Lewis PI call. We scored 3 FGs in the 1st half, score 9-7.
- 2nd half opens up and Dak throws a Pick-6 trying to dump it off to Zeke but overthrows him badly. Witten is shown yelling at a coach saying "It's a bad matchup! You know why he's mad...on his back...because we can't get open!" Zeke misses his block on a safety blitz and Prescott is sacked. A big play to Bryant on the next series, and then disaster hits the infamous play where it clanks off his hands for another interception. Faced with a 1st and goal and we fail to score again and Bailey misses it and there goes the season.
- The next day JG assembles the players' Leadership Council (Dez is part of it) and he tells them about Emlen Tunnell's plaque in the NYG locker room, inscribed it says "Losers assemble in little groups and complain about the coaches and players in other little groups, but winners assemble as a team". Sound familiar? Yea that's the last bit of Bill Parcell's HoF speech...
- We know the results of that final PHI game. Enough said.
- The series ends with JG giving his final game meeting speech and they honor Witten with a gold football for 225 consecutive starts. Sean Lee goes into the LB's room to study film.
