All or something

I know JG sounds like a poster boy of cliches, however his teams almost always play hard for him.

To me JG is probably fine as a head coach, especially given the Jerry dynamic etc, but he has to have high quality coordinators who know their Xs and Os and will make the necessary game time adjustments. That is sorely missing on this team, especially on offense.

I think JG's lack of knowledge also shows up with some of personnel decisions, and how slow they are to make changes when guys struggle or to find roles for younger players.

Another thing JG doesn't get credit for is the change in direction on how the organization goes about building the roster. Jerry probably drafts Manziel if it isn't for JG, McClay and Stephen. I might be wrong but it feels like those 3 are on the same page in turns of the direction of the roster for the most part. I find it hard to believe the HC doesn't have a lot of input in that philosophy.
Garrett is horrible. No sugar coating it, all show, no GO!

Didn't we win 3 straight after the bye? Seems like great coaching IMO. Also IMO our season went down hill because of lack of quality depth at key positions and the week in and week out of not knowing if Zeke was or was not going to be there. The Zeke situation alone was changing the game plan and the mentality of players a couple of days and sometimes hours before the game.

Potential way to look at it. Except we had everyone back for Seattle and the same poor execution and lack of creativity showed up. Clearly changes should have been made, beyond waving DMAC and messing around with the secondary. The fact is he is a process guy that stays above the clouds, not into tactics and looking at situations individually. Process people fall in love with their plan and process and believe it will result in the best outcome, and stick with their process and plan too long. This happens in business and sports. Not being bold enough to dive in and make decisive changes quickly is the biggest issue for leaders. Garret has shown no ability to do that.

If the process works you keep doing it. The only time it has not worked under Garrett is when the pieces that make the process work have not been in place. That can be said for most of the coaches in the NFL except NE.

I just binge watched all or nothing and I do not believe for a second that Witten blindsided the cowboys. Dallas knew or had an idea that Witten might retire....
