All Pro Team announced yesterday

Thanks for the list, Junk, I hadn't seen the voting before.

But wow... All this does is reinforce how ridiculous the Pro Bowl is. Roy Williams gets less than a third of the votes of John Lynch? I'm truly dumbfounded over that one.

And he only got one more vote than Nathan Vasher... Who doesn't even play safety.

Just some clarification:

The All Pro team is a team voted upon by "by a national panel of media members". It is not divided into NFC or AFC and I would guess is considered the "best of the NFL."

The Pro Bowl is voted upon by "the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group's vote counts one-third towards determining the 43-man rosters that represent the American Football Conference and National Football Conference in the Pro Bowl."

Typically, I had thought of the AP team as more prestigious since the Pro Bowl was at least partially decided by fans. However, the players and coaches opinion would be the ones I think most highly of.

The votes were interesting though. I hadn't noticed the Vasher thing. You have to remember that people like Peter King are probably voting and he is busy thinking about coffee.
