Don’t know it this is a mistake or these players are so good that that they make the 1st and 2nd team at two different positions. J.J. Watt made 1 st team edge and 2nd team interior while Derwin James made 1st team safety then defense back 2nd team.

The issue with James is that he plays Strong Safety. In the modern NFL that's not the premium Safety position.

In their prime Earl Thomas had way more value than Kam Chancellor despite Chancellor being a top rated SS.

James is listed as the FS. I think the Chargers use their Ss interchangeably and James has been moved all over the defense playing FS, in the box and even some LB and CB usage.. However, according to the official NFL website, James is listed as a FS and Addae as the SS.

LVE didn't get much playing time early in the year because of Lee. Can you imagine the monster season he would have had if he had started and played starter's minutes the entire year? Glad to see the rookie get the credit he deserves.

Zeke got bent. That's about all I can say about that. Led the league in rushing in spite of being held out the last game and a lot of his touches were passes. That's incredible.

Martin deserves every award he gets. Best at his position, hands down.

Nice to see Byron get credit. Would he be as good without Richard, or would we be saying he was never what we expected him to be. Flourished under Richard. Wasted under Marinelli. Marinelli needs to go.

Gurley has yet to win a rushing title in 4 years yet he gets the nod over a guy who has won it 2 out of 3 years and would of won the 2nd year if Goodell didnt have such a small....
