He was all universe. Just ask his fan clubI thought Dak had an MVP season?

Interesting.......Parsons made 1st team all pro. But I am sure that will not convince his detractors he is a good football player. After all, no one with a podcast who eats nachos can play football.
Agreed. I believe 12 of the 14 QBs in the playoffs were taken in the first round, and one in the second. Hopefully Jerry learns his lesson but I doubt it.If a blue chip QB falls to 12 they need to take him without hesitation. It's time to get a young QB with a 1st round pick so he can be a good back up for a couple of years and then take over when Dak is finished here in 2 more years.
We would need to do this even if Dak was a multiple SB winner.
I don't think "good player" is the dividing line. Do you think he's really 1st team all pro this year? Players with less name recognition did as much or more & played the full year. So, I struggle to see how he could be first team.Parsons made 1st team all pro. But I am sure that will not convince his detractors he is a good football player.
This is a very good reference regarding the selection of All-Pro players:I don't think "good player" is the dividing line. Do you think he's really 1st team all pro this year? Well, when it says it has become "increasingly sophisticated", that seems like a fancy way of saying we can ignore all the players behond Myles Garrett on the stats sheets and choose whoever we want. We'll just ignore all those tackles, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries & sacks other players had. They weren't important to team success. This is a very good reference regarding the selection of All-Pro players:

Among some of the information:
"While raw statistics remain an important factor in All-Pro selection, the criteria used to evaluate players have become increasingly sophisticated. Voters now consider a wider range of factors, including:"
"Impact on Winning: Players who consistently contribute to their team's success, even if their statistics are not overwhelming, are often favored. This includes players who make clutch plays, excel in critical situations, and consistently elevate the performance of their teammates."
This is why Micah Parsons is a deserving 1st team All-Pro.
This is vividly demonstrated in the games in which Parsons did not participate in due to injury as well as those games he did play in.
I don’t know of anyone saying Micah wasn’t good,…but there are some very fair criticisms of him regarding teams running right at him and him disappearing in the playoffs. Then there is the price tag issue…Who said the soft Podcaster wasn't a good football player?
Green Bay's run D actually improved with Parsons.I don’t know of anyone saying Micah wasn’t good,…but there are some very fair criticisms of him regarding teams running right at him and him disappearing in the playoffs. Then there is the price tag issue…
Clearly, the packers didn’t make it much farther with him than we did without him and who knows if he will be the same player going forward.
Yep it’s a terrible shame…./sGreen Bay's run D actually improved with Parsons.
He elevated the entire defense.. they gave up an extra 10 points per game after he went out.
Pity we didn't get to see what he would have done in the playoffs.. maybe next year.
They’re all just haters!I thought Dak had an MVP season?
Jerry is absolutely, no way, planning that far into the future. If a blue chip QB falls to 12 they need to take him without hesitation. It's time to get a young QB with a 1st round pick so he can be a good back up for a couple of years and then take over when Dak is finished here in 2 more years.
