apparently you havent seen Thomas Davis much, he can not cover with the best...he isnt a FS either, and if he plays there in the pros he'll be exposed bigtime

and comparing Ware to Haley is just silly

Yes , Thomas Davis is a consensus top 20 pick at Safety. To be that high means he's a near stud. I have seen him cover and destroy. He's an upgrade to 35 year old Woodson and thats for certain.

The same Haley that was a 4th round pick? I see similarities to Haley in Ware. Does that translate? Maybe not - but I guess your crystal ball is unflawed! pristine and snowy white.

I have seen plenty of Davis and although he does not have the ballhawking ability of an Ed Reed, he is not a liability in the pass either. The guy is a very good player, with incredible physical ability and will be an asset to whatever team picks him. I just don't think Dallas should spend another high first rounder on a strong safety.

Ware, I have not seen at all. From what I understand though he seems to have Charles Haley "qualaties", which is what I am sure Nors was elluding too. He is 6'4" 232, with a frame to grow another 15-20lbs, and runs somewhere in the neighbourhood of a 4.6.
I think he would make a great second round pick if the Boys chose to go that route....however I would still rather take Merriman or Tuck in the first to solidify the linebacker position.

I have already commented on Spears...draft him...plug him in for the next decade.

Ware actually weighed in at 247, most impressive was he was bull rushing OT's and on occasion slamming them to the ground. He also spent time at LB and fared well.

thats what i have been saying all year long- good to see that someone else recognizes our real weaknesses- on defense you must have playmakers at each level- some could argue we have two maybe three-

glover and williams are playmakers- ellis and newman can be - everyone else is a liability.

Offseason concern number 1 ) playmakers- preferably on the second line of defense- Ill take derrick johsnon and shawn merriman with chris canty in the second

My biggest problem with our defense is that we really only have 2 playmakers. We have some decent players, but I want more difference makers. I liked that post. Got my blood pumping to think of the possibilities.
