I have no idea if this will interest some of you, but hopefully it is not a total waste of your time to look at. Division by Division looks at regular season, post season, and combined records for wins and losses and the winning percentages for each team.

All time bests are in Bold Red. That way you can compare the Cowboys if you wish.

These counts take into consideration prior names too. So for example Arizona Cardinals is also St. Louis and Chicago.

I thought about adding their 1st year in the NFL or AFL, but decided to leave that out for now. If someone thinks it is truly relevant let me know and I will add it.

Enjoy.

Surprised to see Philly isnt over .500. They are the only ones in the division. And the Texans have the worst winning percentage of all teams. I would have thought the Bucs would have been worse. This has to be the year of the Texans.

Just behind Chicago (logged up alot of wins in the 30's I guess) and the Dolphins (racked up wins in the pre merge AFL). Im gonna be rooting hard for the Bears and Miami to lose now.

I'm surprised our regular season winning percentage is greater than our playoff.

Miami won most of their games under Shula, after the merger. They only won 15 games pre merger.

They have closed a very wide gap since our 13 year drought.

It pisses me off more than them getting their 5th and 6th trophies.

I thought I remembered us being the winningest franchise when we beat Miami back in 07?

They won two more games than us last year, yet went 1-15 in 07 while we went 13-3.

We had moved into a fractional lead over them and Chicago in 2007. You remember correctly. The playoff loss in 2007 and then 7 more in 2008 puts us back behind them.

Yeah I wasn't factoring in that it's a winning percentage instead of total wins for whatever reason.

Thanks for the clarification though.
