alan ball was beating like a red headed step child. But on that one play (int) he was beast. Helped us win but also could of helped us lose.

I was also somewhat concerned about the number of completions going to his man. But the fact is, he is our 4th CB, not our 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. He is not supposed to be in the position that he was in today.

Having said that- it is an area in which we could no doubt improve. We need to add at least two corners next season, by draft or free agency- preferably the draft. Newman will likely be moving on- his injuries are becoming too much for the team to continue absorbing. And more depth, competition among the corners down the depth chart would be a good thing.

Of course, just like so many wanted to pile onto Romo last week, and then praise him this, next weeks story is yet to be written. Maybe Ball comes out and has a great game, he certainly wasn't on top of his game today on many plays.
