I really think this guy shows up today.

He has said that his dream was to play with a star on the side of his helmet since he was a boy. I know if it were me, I'd have my best game today. Hes living our dream too. Fun to watch him run one back today.

I hope he has a great game. Said he used to try to watch our games even when he was playing for the eagles. He's a true cowboys fan just like us and now he's livin' the dream!

I gotta admit I'm really looking forward to seeing him too. I won't be disappointed if he doesn't light it up right away, though. These things take time after all. And I'm not concerned with his age like some. He's a specialist who is still capable of doing his specialty, so age doesn't matter. Our special teams was already better. This just makes them that much stronger.

The DMN Blog highlighted the field position match-up this week and noted the Atlanta Falcons lead the NFL in opponents averaging starting field position at the 19.8 yard line.

So this might not be the week to expect big kick returns, though all it takes is one missed lane assignment to change everything.

The Cowboys are currently 4th in opponents average starting field position at the 22.2 yard line.

Falcons kick returner Eric Weems, averaging 28.6 yards per return, will be a strong test to contain today.

David Beuhler touchbacks will be most welcome.

dumb argument because rossum was cut to make room for crabtree and crayton would probably not be in this league if he wasn't on our roster.

He was also in Singletary's dog house. One of my best friends is a 9ers fan (unfortunately), and the last game Rossum was there he got benched.

Allen Rossum grew up in Dallas so he probably is a Cowboys fan as are legions of other NFLers who didn't even grow up in Dallas. Just saying.

The only gripe I really have against Crayton is not that he fumbles or drops a ball here and there ...because all players will do that at some point, I wish he wouldn't do so many "fair catches"!!
It seems like he does that way more than trying to run for some extra yards. It makes me think he don't want to be tackled.

It'll be good to see if we don't have a little extra back there today. I'd like to see an occasional run back, too. I hope he doesn't try to do anything extra. He should be experienced enough to just play his game.
