dez is released and this is not a surprise given the value of individual receivers go down in multiple wr sets. if u r counting on multiple receivers to create havoc along with some better sets, then an elite wr would be less critical though still nice. instead, perhaps the $ investment goes else where. it could pay for a dominant rushing attack (ol and rb) to go with multiple wrs that spread the defense apart. the running attack would also take advantage of defenses forced to increase the number of dbs for the multiple wr sets.

rough long term allocation of cap dollars minus cap games:
ol - 50m
qb - 30m after extension.
wr - 15m
te - 5m
rb - 10m
total - 110m
that leaves about 80m for defense.
