So I was thinking on the Cowboys games I've witnessed in person, and I found something peculiar...

Nov. 2, 2003, Washington - 21-14, Win
Aug. 27, 2005, Houston - 21-9, Win
Oct. 16, 2005, NY Giants - 16-13, Win (OT)
Aug. 26, 2006, San Fran - 17-7, Win
Sept. 17, 2006, Washington - 27-10, Win

Hmmm... maybe the Cowboys should start toting me around with them on road trips.

PS - I'll be at most all of the home games this year. Spotless home record perhaps?

I don't think LaFleur was horrible, he was injury prone and done with football by 27. In '99 he caught 7 TDs, he had several multiple Td games but he was on Dallas teams that struggled for puzzling reasons and/or injuries. I'll give you that he was probably drafted too high, probably should have gone in the 2nd or 3rd round rather then the first but he was desperation pick by a team who needed a Te very badly. He had the tools to be good but his knees and back kept betraying him, plus he was drafted in the same draft as tony Gonzalez which makes many look bad. So to sum it up, LaFleur had some bad breaks which shortened what could've been a productive career and what for short flashes had been. A disapointment for that reason but not a bust.

Nope, sorry, but you have nothing to do with it...

You see, I'M the good-luck charm... in preseason, I dug way into the back of my closet, and got out my old Cowboys authentic game jersey, that I'd had made up with my name and Bill Bates' number 40 on it... I bought it way back in 1991, and wore it into Texas Stadium the only game I ever got to attend there, the season-opening Monday nighter against the Skins, after they'd won the Super Bowl the year before...

Of course, my lucky Bates jersey got the Boys started on their first Super Bowl win of the Jimmuh/Jerruh era... but I didn't stop there, no sirree, I went and dug out my Cowboys cap that was made by Drew Pearson's company too... had to go through several boxes to find that one, then go out and buy one of those forms I could put inside the cap so I could run it through the laundry without it losing its shape...

The Boys are undefeated so far this year, when I wear my lucky Bates jersey, and my lucky Drew cap (I couldn't wear it for the season opener, I had plans that involved a dress code, LOL)...

So you see, you're tryin' to steal my thunder here... :D

Okay, now you've got my hopes up. Can I start bugging Mickey to take you on the road?

Well if Bill is so superstitious that he will not take off a jacket even though it makes him dehydrated.

Maybe some of you guys should get in contact with the team, Parchy, and see if they will give you tickets to every game.

The boys are 18-2 when I go to the games (most of those are cowboys/skins and Cowboys/Turkey-Day). Why the 2 losses? Well, we are 1-2 when I take a woman to the game with me (vs. Denver on Thanksgiving with Ryan Leaf and at Washington for Richie Pettibones first game when Emmitt was holding out).

Add Tampa Bay and Indy to this list folks.

I'm still undefeated.
