am i a trader as an OU fan (since 84) to be half pullin for texas because an OU upset would only guarantee another sec chip and i pull for the big 12. Plus I hate time Tebow.

I would never root for the Commanders or Eagles to win the Superbowl.
That being said I did root for the Giants to win because I didn't want to see the Patriots go 16-0, they beat us in the playoffs, and the Patriots would've been getting close to us in Superbowl titles.
If It were me and Florida/Alabama played Texas i'd root for the SEC out of pure hate for my rival.
But...........
OU fans had to root for Texas vs USC because of the emberassment they (OU) had against USC and too save face for the big 12.
For me i'd say screw whats best for the conference and if it isn't my team in it to win it then I hope my rival doesn't win.
Plus Texas winning another National title could be devestating for all teams who recruit out of the state of Texas. They could potentially turn into USC/Florida with 1 more title victory.

What is in OU's control is kicking Texas in the nuts and putting a serious hole in their championship hopes.
Plus a win for OU could definitely rescue our season and put us in a position to win the Big XII yet again. What I want at this point is to win out, win the Big XII, and finally get the BCS monkey off our back. It's no National Championship, but it would still be a pretty good season IMO.
