Am I alone in this idea?

I love Barber. I really do. But football is a business, and I honestly think the combination of Tashard and Felix could be so much more dangerous as a duo.

Should we trade him at the end of the season?

I definitely think it is something to consider. I like him too but three starting quality running backs like we have just seems to be too many. Barber, IMO, would be the best to look to trade.

No you're not alone but I still think you are wrong for many reasons.

For one I think proven depth at RB is very important in todays game and Felix has proven to be atleast somewhat injury prone, also Marion is a BEAST probably the best Power RB in the NFL.

Barber would probably the best for Dallas to trade, but they'd get the least for him I think b/c of his cap hit and he seems to be getting dinged a lot lately. You could probably get a first rounder for either of the other two.

If reports were true that we could have gotten a 1st for Bennett, then maybe trade Barber for a 2nd, then trade one of our 1st and a 2nd to move up in grab Mays, Berry or Tate.

But it's all mute, I love Barber but not as a starter, I really wish we would use Barber the old fashion way in the second half....

Probably right, but I don't think I would trade either of the other two.

Not entirely. I wouldn't trade Barber but I'd give most of his reps to Choice and uncle Felix...

Haha, I wouldn't trade any of them.

Barber hasn't been the barbarian since 2007. Oh sure he has his share runs that remind you of those days, but for every run the yields positive yards there seem to be just as many runs that don't move past the line of scrimmage. And he also has had his share of injury issues.

I really like Choice, but no one is giving a number one pick for him. Choice has something, he seems to get everything available on each run. He needs more carries though.

No. As long as we can afford to have all three on the team, then you do everything you can to keep them. I don't know why people don't try harder to emphasis their strengths rather than dumping what you have an advantage in to minimize your weaknesses. Play to your strengths!

I do think Barber should be moved to a 4th quarter/"Closer" type role that he excelled in with Julius Jones "starting". We have a huge upgrade with Felix and Choice taking Jones' spot and Barber can do what he does best.

Unfortunately, that idea makes too much sense.

We all know this but Barber got paid so he has to play. Gone are the days of your best players on the field....

Doubt he brings as much as value as you think, he'll be heading into his sixth season, and RB's average 3 year careers. Plus he has a running style that lends itself to a short career.

It's cute how you condescend; but until I say "hey, here's an original idea" or the like, please sit in your corner and be quiet...adults are talking.
