am I an idiot to put an emotional investment in this team?

I'm a dude from belgium, who only started watching NFL games from my cosy home three years ago. I fell in love with the cowboys and romo in the seattle play off game, I know, I'm a fool, I can't help it. After putting an emotional investment in the cowboys and looking forward to the eagles game for a week, getting ready for (and dreading) the game and seeing us getting humiliated, this talk of change just sounds like laughing at the fans to me. are we really expected to swollow this? jones doesn't want to pay the money to get rid of anyone so they talk about changing...what exactly? I'm saddened but all this just sounds like trying to keep the punters on board without paying anyone any money. I just can't do it anymore, my one venture into American sports taught me that's it about the almighty dollar and nothing else.

Nah, you're no fool. There's only one team that doesn't come up short every year, so we all complain until the Draft and then get ready to cheer them on again.

Well Dude, Im from Argentina so I know whats the feeling of beeing a fan from really far far away. To enter on the internet, hear the media, log on the ticket radio to hear the news... And Im a fan of the boys for a little more time than you, the last years of Aikman and Emmitt... So Im still waiting to see the boys win a PO game (yeah, everybody now knows whats the problem here... its me )
Now, we have a lot of pieces on place, the problem is, that we dont know how to use them correctly... And bout Jerry, the problem bout him is that he wants to do everything and have part on everything, but you cant question that he is willing to win.

Get out while you can! I have been a fan since a youngling and this season has been the worst ever. I hate the make-up of this team. If i could flip a switch on my emotions, i’d become a Texans fan. They at least seem pointed in the right direction. But i can’t, my heart won’t let me. Run while you can my friend!
