Am I missing something here??? I Hope

From what Ive been reading on this forum since last nite is disturbing.

Yea, we lost another Play off game, yea we screwed the pooch, and yea it's very disappointing ,but guys jumping ship, calling players all sorts of degrading names, and saying the season was a bust??
Come on now.

I too am Very disappointed in the outcome of this year, and not winning a playoff game may be considered a bust ,but from other team fans ,not ours.

We we're 13-3 this year!!!!!!

When we win everybody loves the Cowboys ,but when we lose, you turn on them like a mad dog.

How in your right mind can you call yourself a Dallas Cowboy Fan and you love and want to follow them, if you can't stand by them when their down, as you do when their winning.

You may be an NFL fan and love football ,and thats OK, but Lets not say you love The Dallas Cowboys ,if your going to burn them when things go wrong.

Sure, be upset and kick and scream and say we played like crap, but in a few weeks get right back behind them, because thats what we do here.

Believe me ,I'm as disappointed as most, and if you read some of my earlier posts, I thought we would get beat,which bothered me to no end, but that being said , I'm looking forward to next year already because as I said earlier, THATS WHAT WE DO HERE.:starspin

Everyone's got 8 months to regain their composure. The loss isn't even 24 hours old. Cut some people some slack. You may have moved on, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world should.

If you are satisfied with the way the team finished the season, then yes you are missing something. 13-3 is meaningless if you can't even win one playoff game. You don't get HFA throughout the playoffs often and you have to take advantage. If we got beat next week by GB in a well played game, the reaction here would be a lot different. Choking is always worse.

We had a great season. There's 4 teams left and 3 of them will lose and feel the same way we do. This wasn't our year, but we're close. Who knows..undefeated next season?

I'm excited to see who we pick up this offseason..

The regular season has no other function than play off seeding. Means diddly. We are a first round loser, to a rival, and a wild card team. Raise you standards and you may get it.

If you werent in everyone's living room watching them cringe and roll around on the floor how do you know what kind of fan they are? Because of a forum. LMAO. This is a discussion board. Discuss, and let others do the same, however they like.

I can't stand it after the wins - no matter how close they were, or who the opponent was.

But if you can't vent for a good while after a playoff loss following a 13-3 season, first round bye, up against a FAR inferior squad riddled with injuries - when the hell can you vent?

It's cathartic. Everyone who wants to piss and moan absolutely has my blessing. I just wish that I could figure out what I want to piss and moan about, but all I can come up with is Patrick Crayton, Jacques Reeves and those mother ****ing ZEBRAS!

Many say they are glad we lost now instead of the Super Bowl but for me it would be more expected. I mean the NFC is the joke of the NFL so why would we demand a victory like we did in the playoffs? We were clearly the better NFC team but we haven't played like it in 5+ weeks...

Hold on!!!!!!!!!! If you read the post I didn't say that you (we) shoudn't be upset, My point was that I see some that want to drop the Cowboys as their team and I also see some that don't think Romo should be the QB.

Sure be upset and vent , but my point was (or at least what I tried to say) is that talking about jumping off the bandwagon and calling for another QB to me is ridiculous and not very dedicated fans.

Would you be any happier if we had lost once to the Giants in the regular season, lost to Green Bay and lost to Detroit, but beat Tampa Bay in a wild-card game before losing to the Giants?

Is a wild-card win really better than three regular-season wins, a division championship and a first-round bye (which means you don't get to play Tampa Bay in the wild-card game)?
