Right now Hatcher was the only DLineman that opened training camp with the team who was active today?

Oh wait I forgot Wilbur who had been beaten out by Selvie by the start of the season. So out of the 8 Dlinemen we took to training camp we had 2 active today. Yikes.

Even if you are off 1 or 2 it's the reality of who we are. To me I'm surprised we are as competitive as we have shown with all the D injuries, and the inability to develop a constant running game.

Its also amazing to realize that on our last drive we basically had our 5th and 6th safties on the field. We're probably more injured then we were last year, and that's saying something. I'm just wondering if we're unlucky or if there's some serious flaw in our conditioning/calisthenics.

Yeah, I am sure Garrett has this written down #1 on his list of why he should remain once again. How convenient huh. But maybe roll Monte's head just to keep the natives happy. Then again, we might find some " diamond in the poo" as Emmitt would say.

The problem with turn overs is that they are fluky and can't be depended upon. The gashing amount of yardage apparently is.

Frankly, I am surprised we have fared as well considering the resources we committed to the defensive line going into camp. But then again, lot of season to go.
