So Riggoreincarnated bet me the Skins would finish 10-6 he lost, and paid me 100 dollars. Today he offered to bet me again that they win their remaining 5 games. Another 100 bucks I win if they lose 1 game.

Do you think I am taking advantage of his faith in his team? If I am, is it wrong?

A wise old Cowboy once told me..."a fool and his money are soon parted."

Not if he's an adult, willing to make these bets. Especially considering he offered the 2nd bet.

Yes he offered the bet to me, I didnt try and solicit it. He is 30 years old, and has no family to support. So that makes me feel better

Any fan who can not is such a homer that he cannot realistic evaluate his team at this point in the season is a fool. No your not taking advantage of him. In fact your doing him a favor cause somebody else not with same high ethic as your possess might raise the ante to $200. I say make the bet; if it makes you feel better you can always treat him to a few beers (make that a lot of beers) when he is forced face reality.

he's a Commander fan

you're entitled to take advantage of him, I think they actually like it since Snyder has been doing it to them for years

Make the bet. If you feel guilty you can always send me the money.

Nice answer, by taking his money I am doing him a favor. I like it!

I'm always up tothe task of taking money away from a big mouthwho's not smart enough to know when to quit. Add the fact that he's a Commanders fan, I 'd call his bet and raise him a $100. Like taking candy from a baby.

See thats the problem he isnt a big mouth, he is fair to the other divisions teams, just has to much faith in his own team. He has been saying the division beliongs to dallas for a acouple weeks

I stand corrected. Take his money anyway. It's a fun way to kickoff the Holiday Season (with an extra 100 bones to spend on the lady or the kids. Think of the kids, man!).

Actually, a Commanders fan friend of mine and myself made a similar type bet. Though the proceeds went to the winner's favorite charity in the winner's name. I lost and donated a $100.00 to the Hurricane Katrina Fund. If it makes you feel better do it that way.
