A possible number 10ish pick and not a number 1? as much as i would like to get an all-star player like McFadden, i think it forces us to look at the next best option, and thats a Top CB, or maybe a WR, but most likely a CB.

I for 1 wouldn't complain i think its needed, but i don't know what do you guys think?

Of course I'll always take a higher pick if I can get one, but I am also just fine with our RB situation and would rather see us take two CB's or one CB and one WR with our two first round picks. We've really got to be looking at depth at those positions.

Exactly, as much as Julius makes me pull my hair...hes not horrible, and Barber, is very very good

I'm thinking that if Jacques Reeves continues to grow, the cornerback need suddenly goes away.

I think it's entirely possible we end up with a pick somewhere between 7 and 11 or 12. I wouldn't be disappointed to get a top quality DB, NT, and/or WR out of the 1st round. There will be some good RB's available in the bottom of the 1st and the 2nd too if we let JJ go in the offseason.

We will have a top 10 pick as well as the number 32 pick. Take the best player available.;)

We are gonna have the opportunity to get 2 first rounders next year ..... the higher the better but it will still be better than the one we traded to get it.

Its a win/win no matter if the browns go 2-14 or 6-10

more and more it is looking like going with a 2 headed monster at RB is the best option. I mean look at LT, LJ, and Steven Jackson right now. Does LJ or LT look worth the money? Do you realize how much guranteed money McFadden is going to get if he is a top 5 pick? That is a lot of money for the RB position. If the Cowboys get another young lock down CB this team will be complete. We will have 4 frst day picks. We need to add a CB, WR, interior DL and a RB that can help share the load with Barber, because I do not think Julius will be back. We will make a 5-7 year run if we hit on those 4 positions. And truthfully, when you have a franchise QB like Romo, we should be in the mix EVERY year he is here, especially if we draft well around him.

I would prefer to have the top 5 pick and trade down to get multiple first day picks to address WR/CB/LB and depth with top flight talent.

It don't matter what it turns out to be. Who knows what our needs will be at.

Of course, the hight the better. But I think it will all work out. But too early to call.

If we get a top 10 pick we will probably get the top WR or CB. And with our other picks we can try and get a top type DLineman

It doesn't force us to do anything. If JJ/Ireland/Wade want McFadden , we'll get him, but cost us additional picks. Hopefully this isn't the course of action, but I'd rather have the #1 pick and trade down to the 10th, then draft 10th.

If we lose JJ in FA, I wouldn't mind at all if we ended up say getting Slaton (or another top RB) and another position, and I'm a huge McFadden fan.
