Am I the only one not worried about RT?

I know this will strike up some controversy, but to be honest I think the RT will be fine. Whether its Free or Parnell.

They will both be hungry, and if one struggles, the leash will be super short. From everything I've read and heard Parnell is extremely hungry, and has improved immensely this offseason. I think he deserves a fair shot and is only 26.

I'd rather it work out for Parnell then have to address tackle with another stop gap for a year, like Winston. I honestly think we will be FINE at tackle.

Guard on the other hand.....

Yeah, Im fine with starting Parnell at RT. All we need is a swing tackle just in case, but Parnell should get the start at this point. More concerned about the interior of the line...hopefully Frederick really helps us there.

I'd love to see Parnell starting at RT, but only if he's the best outta TC.. not because he's our only option..

My thoughts as well. Moore would be a huge boost.

Based on my review of his play last year, I believe-with logical improvement-that Parnell will be our starting RT and give us an excellent tackle combo. He no doubt has an elite skill test.

The problem is that I can better explain Parnell starting and a 3 or 4 million dollar guy as a back up than I can explain a guy who hasn't played football at any level before last year, not being able to hand the spot with no fallback option.

Completely agree. I wouldn't mind them cutting Free and getting a guy like Sean Locklear for dirt cheap. He played really good last year for Giants.

Worst case scenario and Parnell plays really bad or gets injured at least you have a guy capable to start.

Hopefully Costa starts at center, Frederick at right guard and Livings/Leary at left guard and Parnell at tackle. As long as there is evident improvement during training camp of Leary and Parnell, and Frederick looks ready to carry the load

No need to let anything concerning the Cowboys worry you. There is nothing you can do that will change things. I really don't care if they go with Free and Parnell. I do hope that Parnell will start just to see if he is the future at the position. The Cowboys are not a OT away from going to the Super Bowl anyway. ROT is only one problem that needs to be fixed. If I was Garrett, I would be worried. The ROT may have enough impact to miss the playoffs and cost him his job.

I read that Parnell said he is ready to compete for the starting RT job. I also read that Winston and Clabo are no better than Free. At least Free played better when they rotated him with Parnell. Which makes me wonder if that lit a fire under Free, or he had endurance issues?
