Am I the only one not worried?

This team has alot of talent but no heart.

I know NY wasn't too great to start last season either and they got hot late. It could still happen to us.

But let's be honest for a minute. There is no leadership on this team. In NY, you knew that Coughlin ran the team. You had players like Strahan..veterans who not only fired up the team, but guys who performed on the field.

Hopefully Romo will return and spark the offense. I honestly do not know what is going on with the defense.

They were also still getting their feet wet with a completely new defensive scheme at the beginning, plus Strahan missed all of TC. I mean they looked LOST under Spagnuola initially.

Pt being that we have the same personnel, same staff, and pretty much everything from last year is STILL in place. No excuses.

Just to play devil's advocate...when the Giants were floundering to start last season, was Strahan viewed as a leader that would right the ship, or a media-craving *** clown that was a huge part of the problem of their infrastructure that undermined Coughlin and led to their yearly demise?

If memory serves, they were laughing at Coughlin for making Tim Lewis(their previous DC) the scapegoat after the '06 season, as Spagnuola wasn't doing any better.

Yah-it was THAT bad. And in wk3 by halftime, it sure looked like Coughlin was on his way out for good when the Skins grabbed a 17-3 at halftime...but the Giants rallied to save their season.
