Am I the only one on this board who wants all road playoff games?

Since it's obvious we play better on the road why not just take the route that the 2007 giants and 2009 Packers took to reach the sb. Who really wants to see a playoff game in Dallas after seeing what the cards, skins, and eagles did to us?

I'm all for the road playoff games in the dark blue jerseys. No one else would like to see that?

I'm on board. Plus, it would really piss Jerry off to have his team make the playoffs without a single home game. LOL.

I still find it bizarre how good we are on the road and how pathetic we play at home. But with two road games coming up, i'm not questioning it

They keep e-mailing me to get playoff tickets for home games.
Can either pay for games now, then if not played, request a refund, or use as credit toward next years tickets.
Or a "pay as the play" option, meaning once a game is scheduled, then I will be charged.

I haven't done either one yet, nor do I think I will. I did not do it the past 2 years, mostly due to traveling. And I may be out of town again this January. I just don't want to take a chance the tickets wouldn't sell, even for face value.
If I knew I was to be in town, I probably would get them, then go to the game. I have a week to decide, or they will go on sale to the public. There is no obligation for me to buy them.

It may give us a tangible psychological advantage if we do manage to beat Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington to finish the season. It will be strange reaching the playoffs with an unbeaten regular season road record, only to lose a home playoff game.

unfortunately we are unlikely to get the needed 8-0 record on the road to seal the deal this year...

Depends on a lot of things. If the road to the NFC Championship were playing at Atlanta and then at Arizona I'd be fine with that. I'd rather somehow backdoor into the #2 seed and get a bye though, road struggles or not.

I would prefer a home playoff game all else equal thanks.

Not going to let small sample sixes fool me into thinking it's better to be on the road than at home.

How about the fact that there are many more player distractions for a home playoff game? Tickets for family and friends, total media crush, etc. You play on the road, you can focus in, you're not all caught up in the home town festivities. I think the big "advantage" home teams have had throughout history is a bit skewed. Before the salary cap era, home teams, especially those with first week byes, were just so much better than the competition that they were bound to win no matter where they played. Now, don't get me wrong, I still think there is a definite advantage with crowd noise, etc., but not nearly as big as one might think, especially in the playoffs.

I still want at least one home game.

And I don't want Green Bay on the road.

I do. Because it means we're still in the playoffs. I've got news for you, if we're going to the SB, we're going through GB to do it. Have you seen their remaining schedule? They're coasting to a division title.

Who did we play at home and who did we play on road makes a difference, except Seattle all other teams we played on road don't appear strong contenders.

But still the road games we play better because of less pressure ?

I gotta agree with this. Cowboys get in to an actual 'playoff' game and not just some elimination crap, people will be getting their change jars out to help pay for a ticket if they have too.
