Am I the only one rooting for the eagles next week?

I know the eagles are division rivals and all, but my hatred for the niners is bigger than just about every team. Combine that with the fact that they’ve knocked us out two years in a row, and I’m really hoping the eagles knock them out.

That’s just how I feel.

Going for Eagles all the way. I want Jerry Jones to see the Eagles in the SB and hoping for a miracle that Jerry will hire a GM.... Of course I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than Jerry hiring a real GM.
Then hoping for AFC to win the SB.

I am not rooting for the Eagles, but I do think they are going to win rather easily. I think the 49ers are very vulnerable to the deep pass and the Eagles excel at that. The Eagles can match the 49ers weapons on offense and then some. The Eagles have 3 excellent WRs, a great TE, and 3 good RBs to go with an OL with 3 all-pros. Plus they are playing in Philly so the refs won't be as kind to the 49ers as they were last week.

The 49ers OL is also suspect. The Cowboys interior DL, JAGs, did a pretty good job against the 49ers OL. Imagine what Hargrave, Cox, and Jordan Davis are going to do to them.

The 49ers have the 2 of the best LBs in the NFC I think. The really fly to the football and the DL protects them (by holding a lot), but the Eagles OL is going to negate some of that. So is Hurts running the football.

I don't like the Eagles but I have to admit they put together a really good roster. With Lane Johnson back, (I cannot believe he can play after that injury) and Gardner Johnson back, I think they are the most complete team in the NFL. I said before the season their success depended only on how well Hurts played, and he has been much better than expected.

The 49's getting beat by the Eagles would be salt in the wound.

I'd prefer the 49's to demolish the Eagles then lose a tight one in the SB.

Neither rival gets a trophy and we can pretend we were one play away from the SB.

Recency loss hate bias is forcing me to pull for the Eagles.

Plus, feelin’ a little disdain toward Princess McCaffrey after she went knee cap hunting on Parsons following the play that Micah tossed McGlinchey. It may be legal, but you’re all part of a union that’s a brotherhood and that move was bush league. If Cristian was to break her coccyx this week, I won’t shed a tear.

Also, seen enough misguided comments from niner fans on this board to believe those that claim SF fans are every bit as annoying as Bird fans.

I hate the Eagles and have hating them since the Bounty Bowl with Buddy Ryan. They cheered when Irvin as almost paralyzed in their stadium and their current coach is a first class jerk in comparing Hurt to Michael Jordan. I hope San Fran beats the crap out of them in their stadium. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I hope the Niners get dragged by Philly. The amount of trash I saw their players and fans talking after the Dallas game actually makes me hope their season implodes in dramatic fashion. Based off what I've seen, their fan base is at least as irreverent as Philly if not more.

Either way, KC or Cincy are going to run either of those bum teams in the Super Bowl.

The only reason I would root for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl would to humiliate Jerry Jones.
But I know that wouldn't happen.
Maybe the 49ers getting their sixth Lombardi might be a kick in Jerry's teeth but that wouldn't matter either.
I'm 100% rooting for the AFC representative.
