There is absolutely a chance that with the right moves, and luck in the draft this offseason that the defense can be brought up to average in 2026 to help our offense and STs that are operating at a high level.

If the defense can be average, which they can in the right scheme, especially if Overshown comes back strong, which would give them an identity and leader to rally around then, yes, anything is possible with this offense.

The D would have to improve a hellovalot to even consider a SB.

The got to get much better to consider the playoffs. Let alone the SB. I don’t think adding the great, star player to the D makes us a threat for a SB. But first you need to get goid enough to get in playoffs and this D isn’t

They just did. They shut down the second best rushing attack. Only giving up some yards in garbage time of a blow out.

When you know the other team’s passing game isn't a significant factor because their top three WRs are out, it kinda allows your defense to focus on stopping the running game.
