Me, I thought the signing was a fine one. He is young, better than any draft eliligble receiver in 2019, and wants to be here. Some argue the cost, the drops and the last year and a half... I believe you pay for quality and they think hs is a cornerstone player... Many of you probably thought drafting Zeke in the fourth overall pick was too high.... I bet nobody thinks that now... Give us a couple of impact games from Amari, then we really won't be hearing the price any more...

Icing on the cake, he grew up a Cowboy's fan.

Amari Cooper, shoot.......he's our best receiver and he is yet to take a snap. I can't wait for the crowd to make the "coooooooop" sound. I like the signing because the 2019 draft only has 2 elite receivers and with Dallas drafting at position 32 they will not be available. This was an excellent move especially with the Eagles trying to secure Cooper. I would rather him play for the Cowboys instead of face them.

Excellent move also by giving Dak the opportunity to see if he is worth a 2nd contract. He will demand Kirk Cousin type money and the Boys can't afford not to make the correct call. YThis is a win for Dallas all day. I don't get why the Raiders are getting rid of player like Mack and Cooper. A team never knows id a draft pick will succeed and they traded away to studs. I bet Raider fans are losing there minds with the nonsense their front office is doing.

Uh I still think Zeke was a mistake...we should have did everything we could to get Wentz seeing as how Tony had hardly played in 2 seasons but whatever...hindsight is 2020.
We have Zeke and I support him because he's a Cowboy and I'll do the same for Amari Cooper but it doesn't mean I like one bit what we paid to get him. WE GOT FLEECED.

There are still a few "you just dont take a running back in the first round" dinosaurs around.

If Amari can get up to speed over the bye and give this team 700 yards and 5+ TD's he's going to be worth it this year.
Then there's the rest of his career here. Dak and Zeek are going to appreciate this trade.
None of that matters however if this damn Oline does start blocking their man.

Agree with the Wince comments but have another view about the value of the trade.

Cooper played with an injured foot most of last year. Which is why struggled and production was lower. Along with other issues on the offense.

A fresh start is just what he may need.

It was a huge mistake. We should have traded up for Wentz. I said it back then and I'm still saying it now.

Garrett would have destroyed Wentz career.

I like Cooper, but do we have a coaching staff that has made the playoffs twice in 9 years ?

Whats the point of bringing in Cooper ? !

Without a QB, it will amount to nothing. Thats the argument.

I agree that Cooper was a good move. With that being said though, he isn't the silver bullet that will right the ship. Unfortunately, we may not see him at his best given the mess we are inserting him into. That should be all the fuel the naysayers need to argue how right they were about the acquisition.

We need to shore up more weaknesses than this if we are going to get results from our passing game.

The diehard draft guys are leading the charge, they're a bit upset it's understandable... we did pay the asking sticker price.

Thats the bad thing about being a team player and putting bad tape out there. Everyone just assumes you suck and ignores the injury you are fighting through.

What if he becomes a perennial pro-bowler again? Would you still feel that way? I prefer to wait a little bit at least. We'll know fairly quickly but not RIGHT NOW....

The goal is to win the super bowl not put guys in the pro bowl. This team is going nowhere with a read option QB regardless of who plays WR.
