Amari Cooper has found a new home, and he’s filling it up with honors.

The Cowboys wide receiver was named NFC offensive player of the week, after his sensational performance against the Eagles.

Cooper caught 10 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime.

Since being acquired in a trade with the Raiders (for next year’s first-round pick), Cooper has helped the Cowboys find the kind of offensive balance they’ve been looking for since Dak Prescott replaced Tony Romo.

In six games since the trade, Cooper has 40 catches for 642 yards and six touchdowns, and has shown the kind of downfield ability they lacked.

When Cooper got here there was a thread of predicting how he would do. So far he is very close to surpassing my prediction in terms of catches and yards.
He has already surpassed my Yds and TD projection...will likely surpass on catches this week. I simply couldn't envision the level of immediate production he has brought to this team.

Read a tweet the other day where he said his goal is to be one of the best WR to ever play the game.
He should lower his sights to be just the best Cowboys WR of all time.

That's a long list he can start with Bobby Hayes.

I do not care for statements like that to the public at large.

That's a hint at his diva side.

We will see it more when we try to sign him.

This guy is going to hold us up at the salary cap crossing.

Make no mistake..

he may not be here for long.

With Tank, Zeke, DAK and Beasley and so many others about to hit the cash out window..

I have my doubts.

If we win in the playoffs..

Katie Bar the Door as there is going to be a lot of accounts to settle.

I say..

Catch Hayes first..Fastest Man in the World.

Then we talk about great receivers.

Then we talk about money.

I am not excited about paying him for work he provided to the Raiders before coming here.

Emmitt Smith said the same thing.........

.>Cooper has blown away what I thought he could bring. I thought just catch passes, get 1st downs and open things up for Zeke. But he is a added machine of production.

Much of what was being said was if Carr could not get things going with Cooper what would make anyone Dak could get anymore out of him? Dak is doing what Carr was failing to do

It’s interesting because DC is believed by many here to be the superior player

The most impressive thing about Amari is how the way every route he runs sets himself up for future success. The best example of this was tearing Darby's ACL in November so he could destroy the Eagles in December.
