Sign a contract so we can franchise Dak and transition tag Byron.
Using a transition tag on Byron would just be a waste of a transition tag. Someone will offer Byron more money than the Cowboys are willing to match.

Well, Coop, then don't insist on a maxed out contract. Sign for around 10 mil/season or so.

Because every top paid receiver can achieve it easily

Really? Easily? You sure? 4 wide outs in the entire league had over 1200 yards receiving in 2019. 5 if you want to throw Kelce in the mix. By the way, what exactly is Amari asking for contract wise?

I actually like it. WR is the #1 diva position in the entire NFL with so many team cancers that I actually like Cooper not causing crap and stirring S%#^ up (especially considering the media that covers this team)
Fair enough. I agree.

Just seems like he doesnt do a whole lot to contradict his reputation for being indifferent as to whether they win or not.

Some guys live and die by that, and those are the types I want on the team.
